As the forest bellows

And the branches creak

As the insects flee

And the trapped do yelp

Let us know this tragedy for what it is

A desperate scream for help;

Our Mother, our Earth, cannot take it anymore

Her strength is weak

Her reservoirs bare

We have taken all that she can spare

She calls and pleas that this madness release

Our lives were not made so that hers could cease,

We have all the tools

We have all the knowledge

To bring her back to health

But we dare not part from our wealth;

Our pockets are full

But our hearts seem empty

Without a care

What is money when the world is bare?

Void of life?

Because that is where we’re headed

If we do not stand up

For what is right

For what is true

I know what love is, do you?

This Earth, our home, is crashing down

Down to the depths that cannot be found

She cannot be fixed fast by cash

She needs much more

She needs love, unity, compassion

And ACTION!

Action to right our wrongs

Against her and against each other

Heal our Earth and heal humanity

Nurture the hearts that are desperately bleeding

Bleeding for love

Bleeding for life

For freedom from the lies!

But no blood needs to be shed

Because at the core of our diversity is our Unity,

Unity in shared hearts yearning for love

Love that can only be found deep within our Divinity

Unity in this shared Earth, our Mother,

Who asks that we respect one another;

We are One at our core

The Alchemy of Love is where true healing resides

Use your heart

Not just your mind

Let’s turn the energy of destruction into nurturing this creation

Love conquers all

The power is within us now

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for

We are here to take a stand

To make a difference

To be the change the world so desperately needs
